My son is 2 and a half and has been sucking his thumb since birth. WIthin the last week, his thumb seems to be ';raw'; looking. It is cracked, red, you can see fresh pink skin and he complains it hurts. I am calling the docotor today.... but does anyone have any idea what this might be?
I was thinking of putting some anti-fungal on it and covering it with a band-aide so he doesn't suck it.....until the doc can see us...Possible thumb-sucking fungus?
Yes, he probably bit it in his sleep or something like that. Your doctor will be able to assist you in breaking that thumb-sucking habit. In the meantime, don't put anything on your sons thumb that he will ingest.Possible thumb-sucking fungus?
thats just plain grouse keep his fingers out his mouth bad for his teeth your going to have problems later,when its time to go to thooth man.
