My dad has a fungus....help!!!?

ok here is the thing, my dad has been having this bad fungus that its eating his toe nails and he has tried a milion stuff nothing works... do you know any remedy either house or product that i can use for him.... he is very self concious bout it and he never wears sandals or open toe shoesMy dad has a fungus....help!!!?
Fungus under the toe nails is very difficult to get rid off. I also tried all of the over the counter things. Tell your dad to see his doctor. There is a precription drug called lamisil that is taken for about 6 months. It will clear up the fungus. Your dad should also eat cultured dairy products to re-introduce the ';good'; bacteria into his system. They help keep fungus and yeast normally found in the body in check. Good luck to him!My dad has a fungus....help!!!?
GO TO A DOCTOR BEFORE IT GETS TO BAD.THEY HAVE PILL FOR IT AT THE DOC OFFICE
Time he visits a doctor. There is a prescription for toenail fungus that should help..

Info on TV tube fungus?

Only one type of TV can generate fungus.....and that's the Projection TV....it can develop fungus BETWEEN the 2 plastic viewing screens.

This fungus can be removed by separating the screens, wiping the offending fungus with a bleach and water solution and doing it several days in a row....then let the fungus die and it will easily detach itself from the screen.....but give it a week, then remove the fungus with a damp (not dripping wet) cloth....

Then let it dry one more day before remounting the two screens together again.

The reason this fungus develops is because moisture gets wicked up inside the 2 screens due to the capillary action of the grooves....so you don't want any leftover moisture caught between the 2 screens. You don't want to have to do it again next year.......

Could this be a fungus?

on the heels of my feel there is really thick dead skin and it seems pretty deep. all day today just the heels of my feel have been itching burning and are very sore right around the area with dead skin. when the skin first started peepling off it was kind of flaky and scaly like. i also wear flip flops alot and have been wearing gym shoes for the past 2 weeks standing on my feet for atleast 8-9 hours a day. could this be a fungus? if so what kind? and what can i use to get rid of this particular fungus. oh and also the affected area is also a yellowish color

i know its gross but i need help ladies aint supposed to have feet like this. serious answers only pleaseCould this be a fungus?
This is very dead skin that has collected over the winter ,or longer=get a big enough pail to put your feet in it =use Epsom salts and as hot of water as you can stand to soak your feet then you should be able to scrape some softened dead skin off =you will have to do this a few times and after each time ,rub your feet with cream and put on an old pair of socks to wear to bed =when feet are smooth again ,you will wonder why you didn't do this long agoCould this be a fungus?
It could also be a fungus. We find fungus everywhere in dust. it is not difficult to get them in flip flops. After soaking your feet in Epson salt solution for 20 mins, use Clotrimazole 1% cream, and wear a sock at night.

Look out not to scrape roughly your heels skin, as that could give you cracks on your heel skin.

You also should find special gel supports for heels, from Dr. Scholls. You find them in Dominion Store. You wear them into your shoes, they are very soft, and they help you stand up without hurting your heels.
I love this cream for fixing up that problem

sounds like you may have athlete's foot. there are are number of creams and sprays you can buy over-the-counter to take care of this. make sure you read it well, and see a doctor as the directions suggest. also, make sure you keep your flip flops clean, and no one else uses them, and you wear clean socks every day. optimally, if you are spending 9 hours on your feet in tennis shoes, you want to change your socks after work, and a fresh pair again in the morning. it is also recommended that you don't wear the same shoes every day, you should have at least 2 pair, and switch them out. this gives them a chance to air out, as constant wearing creates a moist environment in which fungus thrives.

How can I destroy my toe nails safely and without surgery, and also treat the new growth. I will not entertain the liver destroying oral meds.I have toe nail fungus. ?
Glad you don't want to go the oral med route. I have a couple of ideas based on trial and error and success. I use to soak my toes with straight apple cider vinegar. I did this 2 times and day, but it took a very long time to kill the fungus. like months. I did this many years ago and it was successful. Be sure you file the thickness down on the nail before doing these ideas. My mother just got rid of her nail fungus by soaking her toes in epsom salts. First she would wash her feet and then soak her toes in a heavy solution of epsom salts, (while soaking she would pour more on top of her toes). She would soak while sitting at the computer and for an hour or so. After 2 weeks her nails were clearing right up. She also filed down the thick nails before starting this. Her nails are now fungus free. Hope this helps. I have toe nail fungus. ?
give your feet a good wash with a safe disifnectant like dettol, then each day put baking soda in your socks, this keeps your feet fresh, and finally massage white vinegar in and around the infected parts, morning and night, it will help kill off the spores, it should take a week to 10 days to come right
I have heard that if you use peroxide on your toenails twice a day, it will help. Sorry, haven't tried it.
Use tea tree or Neem oil.

    Mycocide for toe nail fungus?

definitely you need to get rid of fungus!

for me worked very well ZetaClear!Nail fungus is tough to treat. The extracts in Zetaclear provide the most powerful therapeutic effect for healthy looking nails.

Obviously, you can't spray herbicide on your feet or hands! The next best thing is Zetaclear. It's made from all-natural homeopathic ingredients. This product works time after time and results are guaranteed. This extra strength solution is designed to be as aggressive and strong as possible, without causing irritation.

It worked fast and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry ZetaClear but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.zetaclear.com/?aid=749165

    Can vinegar cure nail fungus?

Buy a bottle of tea tree oil, it is in a small brown glass bottle and sold at drugstores and target. After every shower, dry your affected nail and apply the tea tree oil with a Q-tip. For quicker results apply again each night before going to bed.

The tea tree oil halts the growth of the fungus and you will see your nail slowly grow out cleanly and fungus free. It takes patience but you will be thrilled to cut off the affected nail as it grows out.

Don't waste your time with vinegar, I tried that and it didn't work. I also tried Vick's Vaporub, hydrogen peroxide, bleach , 91% rubbing alcohol and many other things. The tea tree oil is the only thing that worked. What used to be a nasty brown crusty big toe nail is now back to normal and I use the tea tree oil as a preventative periodically. Can vinegar cure nail fungus?

Topical (surface) treatments don't work! Keeping your nails clean and dry can prevent a fungal infection, but can't cure one once it is established under your nail bed.

Go to your doctor and see if you can handle a course of Lamisil or other such oral medication. You do need a blood test to make sure your liver is working well, but if so then you just take the pills for a couple months. It works great for most people, with very few side effects.

What dose of gamma-radiation is destructive for the most of germs and fungi spores?

From Nutritional Toxicology by By Frank N. Kotsonis, Maureen A. Mackey most bacteria and some fungi are reduce by 90% with radiation doses ranging from 0.1 to 1 kGy.

You kinda have to look in a book on food irradation or the text I mentioned, b/c it just depends on the microorganism. Quite a few fungi and spore forming bacteria can be quite radiation resistant.... requiring 3 or more kGy to kill.

Is there any type of medication you can for toenail fungus?? Whats the best.Cure for toenail fungus?%26gt;?%26gt;?%26gt;?%26gt;?%26gt;?
    Hi John,

Treating toenail fungus is difficult because it is generally a recurring condition. There are a wide variety of over-the-counter anti-fungal creams available, but some can be overly harsh and rid the body of the 鈥榞ood鈥?bacteria needed for systemic balance thus increasing vulnerability to fungal infections in the future.

Your health practitioner or podiatrist may prescribe oral anti-fungal medication to stop the infection. While these medications may work in the short-term, they may also rid the body of intestinal flora and bacteria that are beneficial to the body, creating further problems.

    Natural Remedies

Natural treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies have proven to be highly effective in treating fungal infections. Herbs such as Cymbopogon citratus (lemon grass) are well known for its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties while Calendula officinalis acts as an anti-inflammatory.

In addition, herbs such as Melaleuca laterifolia, also known as Tea Tree Oil and Lavendula officinalis (Lavender) have excellent anti-fungal and healing properties and can also do a lot to help soothe irritated areas.

    Hope all this helps

    Recurring toe nail fungus?

My wife had 4 nail removal surgeries for her toe is there any permanent solution to toe nail fungus.Recurring toe nail fungus?
You may please try the following:

If she has the habit of circling the nail by pushing the skin which generally stretches from the toe to the top surface of the nail, stop doing that. Circling the nail some times opens up a gap between the nail and the toe and allows the moisture or water in it, which may infect the toes.

Whenever the toe is wet, clean the moisture with the help of tissue paper and apply simple creams like vaseline. Keep the toes warm by wearing socks ( if the climate is cold use woolen socks and if warm use cotton socks).

If her foot sweats more than normal, use cotton socks to absorb the moisture and she should wear ventilating type footware.

Before going to bed, clean the toes with warm salted water and wipe the toes with tissue paper and apply LICHENSA ointment.

Check for blood sugar and take precautions to reduce it, if any.

You can visit the following site to get some more suggestions from people who are suffereing from toe nail fungus.

Nail fungus, is a condition that affects the nail of around 6% to 8% of the adult population. A change in color, thickening of the nail, becoming brittle, or rippled nail may be a sign of nail fungus. But it can be cured.

a list of home remedies I saw recently stated that soaking the feet in listerine will kill nail fungus and it doesn't have the possible side affects something like lamisole would have.
There are now many things recommended for Toe Nail fungus, and as many claims that they work. Vick's Vaporub, is one apply twice daily, Tee tree Oil with olive oil, Listerine, washing feet with vinegar etc. Whether these are permanent solution, I cannot say.
I think the drug is called lamysil, but i'm not entirely sure. no matter, you need a prescription for the drug and it's very strong and has a high rate of affecting ppls kidneys. oh, and it's very expensive too.

    Is yeast a fungus?

    yes it is.

yeast is a small single-celled fungus that ferments sugars and other carbohydrates, and reproduces by budding.

    Genus: SaccharomycesIs yeast a fungus?
Yeast are unicellular fungi. The precise classification is a field that uses the characteristics of the cell, ascospore and colony. Physiological characteristics are also used to identify species. One of the more well known characteristics is the ability to ferment sugars for the production of ethanol. Budding yeasts are true fungi of the phylum Ascomycetes, class Saccharomycetes (also called Hemiascomycetes). The true yeasts are separated into one main order Saccharomycetales.

Yeasts are characterized by a wide dispersion of natural habitats. Common on plant leaves and flowers, soil and salt water. Yeasts are also found on the skin surfaces and in the intestinal tracts of warm-blooded animals, where they may live symbiotically or as parasites. The common ';yeast infection'; is typically Candidiasis is caused by the yeast-like fungus Candida albicans.

    Cure for toenail fungus?>?>?>?>?>?

    Good Luck!Cure for toenail fungus?%26gt;?%26gt;?%26gt;?%26gt;?%26gt;?

Check for blood sugar and take precautions to reduce it, if any.

yeast is a small single-celled fungus that ferments sugars and other carbohydrates, and reproduces by budding.

In addition to being the causative agent in vaginal yeast infections Candida is also a cause of diaper rash and thrush of the mouth and throat.

Go to your family doctor or a podiatrist. There is a prescription medication that you coat the nail with, it is clear and it will stop the fungus and prevent it from returning for a long time, maybe forever.

Over the counter so called medications will not work, the fungus will grow deeper into your tissue where you cannot see it while you are messing about with them. This tiny bottle is expensive, if I remember correctly the price is around $50.00 or so if you don't have insurance but it lasts for a long time.

This works. My daddy had this issue all the years I was growing up. This is the medicine that cures it. It is not a fast thing but then again, it's winter so you can wear socks and be fine come spring with bright, pretty and healthy nails.
The first option would be to make an appointment with a dermatologist.

An at home remedy would be tea tree oil. You can purchase tea tree oil at drugstores/natural food stores/etc... Use a few drops (enough to cover) on each toenail. It may cause your toenail to become dry/brittle so start off using it once a day and work your way up to 3x until it clears. Tea tree oil is a natural anti-fungal. Good luck! :o)

but the nail isnt yellow. the skin on the tip of my finger is just hard.

i try pealing it off to get the hard skin off but it always grows back...

and i cant feel with the tip of my finger either...

i tried putting lotion on it everyday to try to get it soft again but it doesnt work and i've had this since last summer...and i dont remember touching any strange plants or anything...

what do i have and what can i do to cure it?Is this fungus...?
If the skin is normal colored, but smooth and hard, it's most likely a wart. Warts are common on fingers. People often get them when they're young. A doctor can remove it or you can try something like compound W. The doctor will generally do a better job removing it. They can freeze it, to remove it and it won't even hurt. Often it won't come back once removed.

It's still *possible* it's not a wart. Only a doctor (or dermatologist) can say for sure.

    Toe Nail fungus? (details inside)?

I noticed it today after I looked down at my feet. Its a white patch on the end of my big toe. My toe nail is cracked and kinda thick. I'm 15 and recently ive been doing alot of walking to lose weight lol. DO you think that the sweat from my shoes and socks couldve caused me to get a nail fungus? I told my dad about it and he said if it gets worse we'll just go to the doctor.

I believe its fungus starting to grow. When i go to the doctor, do you think i should bring it up about my social problem? I have like social anxiety and fear going to places and I think people are judging me because im overweight and always got teased about it. I dont go nowhere or nothing. I stay at home 24-7. Should I bring this up to him too? Cuz i know with school starting in 2 weeks, going to high school... its gonna be rough. Maybe he can give me some medication to help me get over it? I dont wanna go to counseling lol ( if I can help it )Toe Nail fungus? (details inside)?
First the toe nail fungus. See your doctor. If it is the common toe nail fungus the ONLY way to get rid of it is with a daily medication while your doctor watches your liver functions. The total regimen takes about 9 months to complete but it is GONE. The over the counter remedies DO NOT WORK. It must be attacked systemically (from the inside) not topically (from the outside).

Next your PROBLEM. It's far more serious than your nail fungus. You must see a counselor. There is no ';magic pill'; that will cure you. Everyone now a days thinks that you just take a pill and everything is fine. You need therapy and start it now!Toe Nail fungus? (details inside)?
It is not a social problem. Go to a doctor and get it treated.

Nail fungus can be difficult to treat, and repeated infections are common. Over-the-counter antifungal nail creams and ointments are available, but they aren't very effective.

    Oral medications

To treat nail fungus, your doctor may prescribe an oral antifungal medication, such as:

    * Itraconazole (Sporanox)

    * Fluconazole (Diflucan)

    * Terbinafine (Lamisil)

These medications help a new nail grow free of infection, slowly replacing the infected portion of your nail. You typically take these medications for six to 12 weeks but won't see the end result of treatment until the nail grows back completely. It may take four months or longer to eliminate an infection. Recurrent infections are possible, especially if you continue to expose your nails to warm, moist conditions.

Antifungal drugs may also cause side effects ranging from skin rashes to liver damage. Doctors may not recommend them for people with liver disease or congestive heart failure or for those taking certain medications.

    Other treatment options

Your doctor may also suggest these nail fungus treatments:

    * Antifungal lacquer. If you have a mild to moderate infection of nail fungus, your doctor may prefer to prescribe an antifungal nail polish called ciclopirox (Penlac). You paint it onto your infected nails and surrounding skin once a day. After seven days, you wipe the piled-on layers clean with alcohol and begin fresh applications. Daily use of Penlac for about one year has been shown to help clear nail fungal infections, but researchers found that it cured the infections in less than 10 percent of people using it.

    * Topical medications. Your doctor may also opt for other topical antifungal medications. In some cases, you may be advised to use these creams with an over-the-counter lotion containing urea to help speed up absorption. Topical medications usually don't provide a cure, but may be used in conjunction with oral medications.

If your nail infection is severe or extremely painful, your doctor may suggest removing your nail. A new nail will usually grow in its place, though it will come in slowly and may take as long as a year to grow back completely.
same happened to me..i play lots of soccer and the sweat and my tight soccer cleat caused it too..

one day i broke the nail, then it fell off and a new one appeared completely healthy..

the doctor also said it could have benn spread from someone

so think twice before sharing shoes or socks

    Helpp mouth fungus?????????

i think my cory got mouth fungus and it passed it on to one of my neon tetras. the tetras starting to grow white spots? what should i do ??? thanks.Helpp mouth fungus?????????
Colomnaris more than likely. A broad spectrium antibiotic is needed. However you stated your neon is getting white spots? Like ich or does it look like the colomnaris your cory has? These are two different things. What have your water quality tests been like and when was your last water change?

Weekly 25% with cleaning should be followed. If the tetra has the SAME type of white around the mouth or gill slits, treat with the antibacterial, however if you feel it is more like ich, it should be treated first since the parasites are more apt to kill off the fish faster. Follow the directions and remove your carbon when treating.Helpp mouth fungus?????????

do a little research online or ask a Naturopathic Dr
Which brand? There are quite a few on the market these days. They work for some people %26amp; not for others. It all depends on the individual. The stuff at the 99cent store usually does the same as the higher priced products. Clean your feet DAILY with soap %26amp; water, dry feet completely, apply cream, put on socks %26amp; shoes. If you wear sandals without socks, then you should apply the cream at night BEFORE you go to bed %26amp; put socks on to keep the cream ON your feet while you sleep. In the morning, just remove socks %26amp; put your sandals on. If you shower upon waking, then the cream will wash off %26amp; you can reapply for the day or NOT! Applying the cream at least ONCE a day will greatly reduce the fungal bacteria %26amp; growth. You still will need to give yourself a good pedicure %26amp; scrape off the dead skin on your feet. The fungus lives in that dead skin. If you use a pumice stone, you MUST disinfect it each time with bleach or peroxide to prevent re-infecting your feet with the pesky fungal bacteria! Change socks DAILY %26amp; get yourself some new shoes to slow down the fungus that lives in %26amp; on your shoes! Having washable shoes %26amp; sole inserts is a good idea when you have a foot fungus problem!

*Edit: Don't forget to keep your shower %26amp; tubs clean! Every place your feet touch can be a breeding ground for the fungus %26amp; when you walk over it barefoot, you are picking up %26amp; leaving the fungus! I use bleach in my mop water %26amp; keep a can of cleanser that has bleach in it to clean my shower. Alcohol is also useful in cleaning %26amp; disinfecting the stall floor, IF you can stand the smell of it! Pine-sol only traps the fungus %26amp; does not seem to kill it!

Have you noticed if you get yeast infections easily also? This can be a sugar related issue. Yeast feeds on sugar. When you eat more candy, breads etc. It may end up getting worse. Drink lots of water, filtered. Take live probiotics that are kept in a refrigerator. Saccramyces Boulardii is also a help. Take these the first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and the last thing at night. It will take time, it could be a long while, 3-6 months. Always wear socks. Get some Tea Tree Oil spray for feet at the health food store. It works miracles. spray your shoes with it at night. Wash them often if possible. It always starts with what is within. Get new shoes if you have to. Fungus loves sweat and bacteria. Use a little peroxide in your wash water for your clothes. It will help kill off many buggies we don't want!

  • Penis Fungus?

    I have this penis fungus,

I went to doctor and he prescribed me this vaginal yeast infection creme. I've been applying it for two week, but it just doesn't want to go away.

What should I do ? How much time it takes to get it away?Penis Fungus?
2 weeks should have taken care of it but you should also have been wearing loose (maybe boxers) cotton underwear and pants, apply the medication as frequently as prescribed, wear nothing or a bathrobe around the house when practical, and otherwise keep the area dry and open to air as much as possible. You may also want to consider dusting with a bit of corn starch or unscented baby powder. If you done all or most of those things as well as the creme, I'd return to the doctor. If not, try that approach first for another week.Penis Fungus?
Maybe it isn't a ';yeast'; infection have you thought about that. How did you get it, from another person Check with her and see if she has any problems.

Go back to your doctor and tell him, he may have to increase the dosage or change the script. I wouldn't take anything, over the counter or not, it could create problems you don't want. Unless a doctor prescribes it, don't take it.
First question is: are you circumcised?

If you have a foreskin then you need to try and keep the area under the fold dry , avoid sweaty activities for awhile, clean and DRY it before you apply the cream......Are you cleaning yourself properly before you apply the cream?

Uncircumcised men can get yeast infections easily especially in the summer. It may take a few weeks to clear.
I would go back to your doctor, or go to a chemist and ask for a diflucan tablet if you can buy them over the counter. Usually it takes about a week to clear and get better, maybe its something else, go get it checked out with your doc to be sure.
Penis fungus is the first stage of AIDS. Go back to your doctor immediately and if he doesn't diagnose you properly, sue him for malpractice.
I WOULDNT BE ASKING ON HERE, GO TO THE DOCTOR! HES THE BEST ONE TO ASK

Here's something from the Oprah show:

    To treat fungal infections of the foot, Dr. Oz says you have to take a pill by mouth. ';That pill does have one side effect: It can cause liver failure. So we don't use it a lot, and you've got to be careful about using it, because it doesn't save your life, right? No one dies from toe fungus.';

To avoid foot fungus in the first place, keep your toes dry and try to expose them to the sun, Dr. Oz says. Many people who think they have fungus actually just have an infection around the nail. Dr. Oz recommends soaking your foot in vinegar or tea tree oil to cure those infections.

that poor fish =(Jungle Fungus Eliminator fin-rot?
The filtered tank will help, also assuming it's a bit larger for him. Keep the water quality good. Usually it's brought on by poor water quality, and just fixing that will remedy the problem in most cases. If it's really bad, then an antibiotic will be needed, I usually recommend Maracyn Two, but like I said, hold off and see if the improved water conditions help first.

Green Fungus Cap is Breaking Friendship!?

My best friend at school always wears a mossy green fungi-infested cap. I dispise the cap, and because of that our friendship is breaking off.

I won't speak to him anymore, because his fungus cap stinks horribly.

I don't want our friendship to break-off over a cap! What do I do!?Green Fungus Cap is Breaking Friendship!?
You can't let an object like this break the friendship, and I agree with what you say on it stinking. It may have some sentimental value to him, so he shouldn't get rid of it, but, tell him t at least clean it, or to spray some kind of freshener in it. That is poor hygiene your friend has, and do you wanna be seen with someone who wears fungus on their head if theyre making a big deal? You may have been friends, but both of you need to make sacrifices. If he's not willing to remove this stinky hat, then what is the friendship worth? If he is willing to sacrifice wearing his hat around you, be sure to stop doing something that annoys him.

    Skin fungus?

My 11 year old son plays outside ';all the time';. He is a very active person. He keeps getting ring worms on his face. My neighbor says it is from our dog, the doctor says it is from inadequate hygiene, ( yes that pissed me off, so I did stop listening to her). What causes this, and is there a home treatment to prevent this. BTW he has been on an oral antibiotic and skin cream and they go away only temporarily.Skin fungus?
I am told by guys I know who wrestle, that they are also very prone to ringworm because of all of the sweaty person to person contact and hanging out in damp locker rooms. They tell me that they use Selson Blue medicated shampoo as a body wash every day and it stops them from getting ringworm as it is anti-fungal. Read the ingredients and talk to the pharmacist about it for your son.Skin fungus?
    Ringworm is a fungus and has different names for the different areas of the body it affects: ';skin on your body (tinea corporis), scalp (tinea capitis), groin area (tinea cruris, also called jock itch), or feet (tinea pedis, also called athlete's foot';

Ring worm is highly contagious and since he has been on an oral antibiotic, you might want to see where else the source of the ring worm may be. Treat all possibilities/sources of ringworm to prevent reinfection.

Bacteria causes it. I got it once from swimming in tropical water. The hygene thing, not so much, I shower at least daily and that didn't prevent it. The only cure I know of is anti-biotic cream.

He could be getting it from playing near where the dog goes to the washroom as there are lots of bacteria in feces, even after you scoop it off the lawn.
Take him to a dermatologist. Your doctor who said it is from poor hygiene is full of crap.

    Fungi and Fungus.............?

I was watching history channel last night, and they were talking about fungus and fungi. It also said something about it can grow inside your body???? Have you ever heard of that?Fungi and Fungus.............?
Fungus refers to 1 species, fungi refers to more than one.

Yes, you have fungi on and in your body all the time! It's only a problem when your ';flora'; (the microorganisms that live on you) are knocked out of balance. For example, if you take antibiotics, it kills off bacteria and allows the fungus to take over (like a yeast infection).Fungi and Fungus.............?
Heck yeah! Like toenail fungus? That's when your toenail starts yellowing and getting thicker. If you don't get it treated, it can cause further health problems!

My ex-husband used to play squash at a University and shower in the communal shower and not wear any footwear. Then he subsequently showered in our home tub and then my pinky toe started getting ';thick';. I was mad as heck!

Always wear some footwear if you shower in public areas especially! It is so contageous!
Yep, fungus can cause disease, and fungi is plural for fungus.
Yes. Fungi or Fungus can enter your body and make you really sick. It can grow inside you. I have heard of that before.

Bacteria is in the Kingdom Monera

So no. bacteria is not fungus, fungus is not a bacteria.

There are many more reasons why they are not the same.

Way of reproduction, how they eat. Etc.
No. They are two different things. Just like viruses are completely separate things as well. Just think about it, that's why there are antifungals and antibiotics. An antibiotic medication would not kill a fungus and vice versa.
Nope. Fungus is fungus and bacteria is bacteria! :o)

Fungus is much larger than bacteria.
no, fungus is a eukaryote from the kingdom Fungi. Bacteria are prokaryotes and are microorganisms.
i believe they are different, fungus is made from spores and bacteria is not.
Fungi are their own kingdom of living things.
    Nopeee(:
    yes

    Fingernail fungus?

    treatmentFingernail fungus?
Let me say, from personal experience, you need a prescription for oral medication to stop it at the source. Any preparation you get OTC is going to stop the single exposed spot of fungus, but not kill it back to the source, and when the nail grows out, it'll be back.

See a doctor. They'll prescribe a real and effective treatment.Fingernail fungus?
Keep it dry, get fungal cream from drugstore.
You can try many expensive antifungal medications, but I've know people cure themselves by applying 'vicks' vapor rub to the nails and frequently applying throughout the day. At night cover them with a lot of it.
Try the anti-fungus liquid that they sell in any drug store around the fake nails, glue, and other crap. If that doesn't work, you've got to see a doctor. It won't fix itself, and it could spread. It's an infection, and it could get serious. Seriously.

I think i have feet fungus! when i wear heels for a long time and my feet sweat, there will be black things on my shoe!!! what do i do please help!Feet fungus please help???? !!!?
Depending on your shoes, it might be a sweat stain. Sometimes when clothes, shoes or even jewlery get in contact with sweat they leave a ring or stain. Sometimes on the article, sometimes on you.

As for the fungus, get a good fungicide. The should sell them over the counter. Also, use Head and Shoulders shampoo on your feet.

You will also need to allow your feet to breathe until this is gone. Afterwards, make sure you use something to absorb moisture in your shoeFeet fungus please help???? !!!?
Just make sure to wash your feet daily with soap. wash between the toes. To help soften your feet use a small amount of vaseline
