Info on TV tube fungus?
Only one type of TV can generate fungus.....and that's the Projection TV....it can develop fungus BETWEEN the 2 plastic viewing screens.
This fungus can be removed by separating the screens, wiping the offending fungus with a bleach and water solution and doing it several days in a row....then let the fungus die and it will easily detach itself from the screen.....but give it a week, then remove the fungus with a damp (not dripping wet) cloth....
Then let it dry one more day before remounting the two screens together again.
The reason this fungus develops is because moisture gets wicked up inside the 2 screens due to the capillary action of the grooves....so you don't want any leftover moisture caught between the 2 screens. You don't want to have to do it again next year.......

Can vinegar cure nail fungus?
Buy a bottle of tea tree oil, it is in a small brown glass bottle and sold at drugstores and target. After every shower, dry your affected nail and apply the tea tree oil with a Q-tip. For quicker results apply again each night before going to bed.
The tea tree oil halts the growth of the fungus and you will see your nail slowly grow out cleanly and fungus free. It takes patience but you will be thrilled to cut off the affected nail as it grows out.
Don't waste your time with vinegar, I tried that and it didn't work. I also tried Vick's Vaporub, hydrogen peroxide, bleach , 91% rubbing alcohol and many other things. The tea tree oil is the only thing that worked. Husband got up to let the dogs out and noticed this perfectly round dark yellow (mustard color) thing that literally grew over night in our sliding door frame (only it was on the inside of the house). He went to clean it up and it popped, deflated and turned brown. What in the world could this have been? Is it dangerous? It's been quite rainy, and the track stays wet when it rains, but we bleach it regularly so not to grow mold because it's wet. Please let me know what this was and is it dangerous?Yellow Mold Spore? If she has the habit of circling the nail by pushing the skin which generally stretches from the toe to the top surface of the nail, stop doing that. Circling the nail some times opens up a gap between the nail and the toe and allows the moisture or water in it, which may infect the toes.
Whenever the toe is wet, clean the moisture with the help of tissue paper and apply simple creams like vaseline. Keep the toes warm by wearing socks ( if the climate is cold use woolen socks and if warm use cotton socks).
If her foot sweats more than normal, use cotton socks to absorb the moisture and she should wear ventilating type footware.
Before going to bed, clean the toes with warm salted water and wipe the toes with tissue paper and apply LICHENSA ointment.
Check for blood sugar and take precautions to reduce it, if any.

Yellow Mold Spore? Fungus? HELP?
Husband got up to let the dogs out and noticed this perfectly round dark yellow (mustard color) thing that literally grew over night in our sliding door frame (only it was on the inside of the house). He went to clean it up and it popped, deflated and turned brown. What in the world could this have been? Is it dangerous? If she has the habit of circling the nail by pushing the skin which generally stretches from the toe to the top surface of the nail, stop doing that. Circling the nail some times opens up a gap between the nail and the toe and allows the moisture or water in it, which may infect the toes.
Whenever the toe is wet, clean the moisture with the help of tissue paper and apply simple creams like vaseline. Keep the toes warm by wearing socks ( if the climate is cold use woolen socks and if warm use cotton socks).
If her foot sweats more than normal, use cotton socks to absorb the moisture and she should wear ventilating type footware.
Before going to bed, clean the toes with warm salted water and wipe the toes with tissue paper and apply LICHENSA ointment.
Check for blood sugar and take precautions to reduce it, if any.

Yellow Mold Spore? Fungus? HELP?
Husband got up to let the dogs out and noticed this perfectly round dark yellow (mustard color) thing that literally grew over night in our sliding door frame (only it was on the inside of the house). He went to clean it up and it popped, deflated and turned brown. What in the world could this have been? Is it dangerous? You may please try the following:
If she has the habit of circling the nail by pushing the skin which generally stretches from the toe to the top surface of the nail, stop doing that. Circling the nail some times opens up a gap between the nail and the toe and allows the moisture or water in it, which may infect the toes.
Whenever the toe is wet, clean the moisture with the help of tissue paper and apply simple creams like vaseline. Keep the toes warm by wearing socks ( if the climate is cold use woolen socks and if warm use cotton socks).
If her foot sweats more than normal, use cotton socks to absorb the moisture and she should wear ventilating type footware.
Before going to bed, clean the toes with warm salted water and wipe the toes with tissue paper and apply LICHENSA ointment.
Check for blood sugar and take precautions to reduce it, if any.

Ewww... toe nail fungus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
ok... my toe nails arent nasty looking, but when i take the polish off, the tips of my nails (not the entire nail bed) is kinda yellowish with what seems like small white horizontal lines... like the top layer sheds a little too if i scrape it... how can i get rid of this? i have already stopped wearing polish so that they can breathe a lil...Ewww... toe nail fungus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Possible thumb-sucking fungus?
My son is 2 and a half and has been sucking his thumb since birth. WIthin the last week, his thumb seems to be ';raw'; looking. It is cracked, red, you can see fresh pink skin and he complains it hurts. I am calling the docotor today.... but does anyone have any idea what this might be?

This tiny bottle is expensive, if I remember correctly the price is around $50.00 or so if you don't have insurance but it lasts for a long time.

okay i think the tip of my finger is infected with fungus [my pointer finger]
but the nail isnt yellow. the skin on the tip of my finger is just hard.
i try pealing it off to get the hard skin off but it always grows back...
and i cant feel with the tip of my finger either...
i tried putting lotion on it everyday to try to get it soft again but it doesnt work and i've had this since last summer...and i dont remember touching any strange plants or anything...

Colomnaris more than likely. A broad spectrium antibiotic is needed. However you stated your neon is getting white spots? Like ich or does it look like the colomnaris your cory has? These are two different things. What have your water quality tests been like and when was your last water change?
Weekly 25% with cleaning should be followed. If the tetra has the SAME type of white around the mouth or gill slits, treat with the antibacterial, however if you feel it is more like ich, it should be treated first since the parasites are more apt to kill off the fish faster. My best friend at school always wears a mossy green fungi-infested cap. I dispise the cap, and because of that our friendship is breaking off.

My 11 year old son plays outside ';all the time';. He is a very active person. He keeps getting ring worms on his face. My neighbor says it is from our dog, the doctor says it is from inadequate hygiene, ( yes that pissed me off, so I did stop listening to her).
