Foot Fungus/ Craters?

My boyfriend has some kind of foot fungus on his feet, we can't figure out what it is but its been there for years, it looks like deep craters, and inside of them there are shreds of skin that look like sand, help?Foot Fungus/ Craters?
ugh it's a plantar's wart. these things are nastyyyy, harmless but nasty. and yes they can spread easily. my step brother had one once, and he took the top off of it and it came out with little dark strings (the ';sand'; was rooted deeper and actually came out in a bunch of little dark strings... it was disgusting). just have him go to the doctor.Foot Fungus/ Craters?
They are plantar warts you can go to a doctor or cure it with an old fashioned home remedy. The home remedy is clear finger nail polish and duct tape that fits over the warts. It takes a few weeks to get rid of them this way but it works. The nail polish and duct tape suffocates the virus that causes the warts.
sounds like a planter's wart. i unfortunately had one a couple years ago. i had it removed and ive been wart-free for a the time being. but the foot doctor that i went to said that planter's wart are annoying because they can easily be spread. my cousin who had come up from florida for summer vacation was taking showers in the same bathroom that i was and didnt bother to tell us that she had one of her foot. the doctor told me that the sand-looking things inside the ';crater'; were seeds and that they would come out sometimes when they get wet. and he said that while i was showering i mustave stepped on one and it planted itself in my foot. he also said the the ';crater'; that you see is very much like an iceberg in that you're only seeing a small fraction of what it really is.
