My boyfriend has this itch in between his toes all the time. He won't admit it. But I always catch him scratching the skin in between his toes even after he showers. The skin almost looks like you can take a razor blade and scale it off. His toenails are also a little dark in color so of course I thought that he has athletes foot or fungus. What do you think can be done?Foot fungus? Athletes foot?
He should spray all his shoes/sneakers with Tinactin AND soak his feet in Lysterine on a regular basis (daily or more often to begin with). Lysterine will absolutely kill any fungus or athletes foot condition.Foot fungus? Athletes foot?
He needs to get an anti-fungal cream from the doctor; the over the counter ones won't cut it...be sure he disinfects all his sandals and shoes or else he will end up getting it again.
Have him soak his feet in baking soda and water. Baking soda is a salt and is deadly to most fungus. If that does not work try hydrogen peroxide, the industrial strength you have to order on line. The peroxide has an extra oxygen molecule that will burst the cell wall of the fungus. Fungus is a plant and needs water to survive. Also something as simple as using a blow dryer after a shower will help dry out any excessive moisture that the fungus needs to survive.
