Asphalt drive way fungus!?

I have a asphalt drive way and it has like a lime scale fungus (moss) growing on it. I live in Australia and wondered if any one knows of any thing that I can purchase that will remove it please?Asphalt drive way fungus!?
It needs to be pressure cleaned. You can hire large pressure cleaners from places like coates hire etc... (Pressure Cleaner/ Water blaster, NOT Steam cleaner). Or if this is going to be something that has to be done on a regular basis, eg once a year, you could buy a small electric pressure cleaner from you local hardware for between $100- $200. Best brands are ';Gerni';(for petrol models) and ';Karcher';for electric models.';Winner'; brand is made by ';karcher'; exact same machine just different casing.





When cleaning, be patient and do small sections at a time (1m sq), Do back and forth strokes about 2 - 3 inches off driveway and overlap each stroke. Like mowing the lawn. If you would like more info I'm happy to help. Have been pressure cleaning over 20yrs and have cleaned everything from driveways, roofs, to showers with them.





p.s. If you wash it down occasionally with a solution of chlorine and water that will help prevent it from coming back as fast.
